Reports indicate that some members of one of Nigeria’s Finest Comedy crew, Naijas Craziest were arrested by Lord’s Chosen General Overseer, Lazarus Muoka over a satire comedy video they made about his church and its members.

The satire comedy video was uploaded on Youtube on the 5th of December 2016 and garned over 17,000 views on YouTube with some Nigerians in the comment section condeming the act of Lord’s chosen members rolling in mud. While some found the video funny, others thought the comedians abused their freedom of expression rights. Of course, the Lord Chosen members did not take the video lightly which led to the arrest of the comedy crew.

According to Yabaleftonline, a member of the NaijasCraziest member, Mayor Okiemute has spoken up about the arrest. He said that all of his crew members except him were arrested and had their phones confiscated. They cannot make any call to their family whatsoever. They are currently being held hostage at the state CID Panti.

A statement by MC Mayor reads:
”We would like to inform our fans concerning the arrest of the Naijas Craziest Crew by the state CID Panti, the arrest came as a result of a report filed by the Lords Chosen Church G.O over a comedy satire video of Lord Chosen members rolling in the mud. They seized their phones and did not allow them call.  It’s amazing that you can be arrested over a comedy video of a church, a comedy video that has a disclaimer at the beginning. They are being held hostage at the state CID Panti as we speak.
