The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, in company of his wife, Olori Wuraola, who are on a working visit to the United Kingdom made the acquaintance of the future King of England, Prince Charles.
It was revealed that this makes it the first time both royals were meeting. They also shared a few moments of conversation.
Whilst Prince Charles was in his mid-twenties, the current Ooni of Ife was born in 1974. Oba Ogunwusi succeeded Ooni Okunade Sijuwade in 2015 while Prince Charles is the heir to the throne after his mother’s, Queen Elizabeth II reign. It is reported that Prince Charles is the second-longest serving heir apparent, and is unlikely to match the 65 year reign of his mother.
