Family drags bank to court over late actor Prince Uche’s money

Family of late actor, Prince James Uche has dragged a new generation bank (name withheld) to court over freezing of the late thespian’s account.
It was gathered that though it was normal routine for banks to freeze a dead customers’ account to ascertain specific details of information they require but the family claimed they had provided the information required. Still, the bank seem not to co-operate with them, hence, their action of taking the matter to court to compel it to unfreeze Uche’s account to enable them plan for his burial.
All these have affected attempts to fix a date for his burial.
Meanwhile, the Lagos chapter of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has put machinery in place to organize a befitting service of songs and candle light as is the tradition of the guild.
If the case is dispensed with on time, the burial according to information available will hold at the end of the month or early next month.
