Actress, Funke Akindele Bello joins the fight against Female Genital Mutilation

Nollywood actress cum producer, Funke Akindele Bello has pledged her support for the fight against the practice of Female Genital Mutilation in Nigeria and Africa as a continent.
The multiple award winning actress, who headlined the Meets Media series in Lagos pledged to be a resounding voice in the Campaign against the barbaric act.
The actress, popularly called Jennifer is doing this in partnership with UNICEF-powered #endcuttinggirls UNICEF-powered FROWN CHALLENGE, which aims at targeting the agents of change to create information pressure and actions that will catalyse ending female genital mutilation with the use of catalytic photographs.
