Afrobeat legend,Femi Kuti, has broken the World Record for the longest note ever played on a saxophone.
He broke the record at his performance at the New Afrika Shrine on the 7th of May, 2017.
Kuti broke the previous record (45mins 37secs) held by Kenny G by 1 minute, 1 sec, as he played for 46mins 38secs non-stop.
Although some people have argued that the statistics were incorrect and Femi has not yet broken Kenny G’s record, he assured that he still has enough strength to go for 50 minutes.
