82-year-old Grandma gets tattoo of late husband’s name on wrist

You are as old as you think you are, goes the quote and 82-year-old June Bright is living proof.
The grandma has just got her first tattoo – dedicated to her late husband, Derrick.
June met Derrick when she was just 13-years-old. From childhood sweethearts, they became husband and wife. They spent 53 years together before Derrick died in 2001.
June was influenced by her 79-year-old friend, who has a tattoo of puppies on her wrist. Thereafter, she persuaded her granddaughter, Naomi to take her to a tattoo shop. Initially, she wanted to get the initials of her late husband tattooed on her ring finger.
However, when the day came round to having it done, she couldn’t get her wedding ring off so she ended up tattooing her late husband’s name on her wrist instead.
