#VMAs2017: AGT Judge, Mel B sends powerful message to estranged husband

The MTV Video Music Awards 2017 red carpet was filled with celebrities, who for one night ditched the decorum of most black tie events and got to show off the rock stars they are.

Not only did American’s Got Talent judge, Mel B show off her rock star alter ego, she also had a message for her estranged husband, Stephen Belafonte.
The former Spice Girls band mate showed up on the red carpet looking stunning in a dress that on the face of it looked like a sequin lover’s dream, but a closer look showed a deeper meaning beyond fashion – a barbed message aimed directly at her estranged husband.
“You will never own me’ the words screamed from the sequin number in a message of defiance against Stephen Belafonte as their nasty divorce battle continues.
On the overall, the star looked a bit gaunt, even as the muscles on her shoulders showed she’s been spending quite some time working out.
