Idyl becomes winner of The Voice Nigeria

A star has emerged, this time it is from the stables of The Voice Nigeria as 22-year-old Bayelsa-born singer, Daniel Diongoli, popularly called Idyl defeated other contestant to win The Voice Nigeria season two edition.
In this year’s edition, four performers made it to the grand finale, but Idly took home the dream prizes of a recording contract with Universal Music Group, an SUV car worth N7m and a trip to Abu Dhabi.
Idyl, who also goes by the #GracePikin, and his mentor, Timi Dakolo, wept on each other’s necks as he was announced the winner.
