Designer, Victoria Beckham debunks rumours of spice girls reunion

By Patricia Uyeh,,
Following  the rumours of a reunion of  English girl pop music group Spice Girls made up of Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell, fashion designer, Victoria Beckham, formerly Posh Spice, has revealed that it won’t be happening – at least not with her involved – as she has now moved on and focused entirely on her successful career in fashion design.

She said: “It is not happening. At some point you’ve gotta know when it’s time to say, ‘that was great’. Girl Power will always be out there and is something that we all still believe. What I do now is still all about girl power, but it’s empowering women through fashion. I don’t think I’ll be slipping into a PVC catsuit anytime soon.”

The music group was last seen together in 2012 for a performance at the London Olympics closing ceremony and for the launch of their Viva Forever musical in 2012.

According to the rumours, the five have been discussing a comeback and reunion in 2018. They were also speculations that they will work together on a series of projects, which will include an album and a TV special celebrating the Spice Girls.
