I want to get more endorsements and TV jobs this year-Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Uriel Oputa
By Patricia Uyeh,
Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Uriel Oputa opened up about her background, education, plans for this year, career, relationship with her uncle, Charly Boy, Big Brother Naija house and more.
She shared these details in a recent interview with the Punch.
On her plans for year 2018, Uriel said:
“For this year, I’m focusing on getting more endorsement deals and doing more TV jobs. My show, Make Me by Uriel, which runs on Instagram, will soon start to show on TV. A lot more things are coming this year. I feel very positive and excited about the possibilities ahead.”
Speaking on the challenges she faces, she said :
“A lot of people think that you are ready-made and had money waiting for you after the show. Sometimes, people don’t believe you when you say that you’re still climbing up the ladder and trying to make headway.
“Many people also say terrible things about you simply because you’re in the public eye. I am a free person and I say things as I see them. But I have discovered that that doesn’t go well with some people. However, I get messages everyday from people who tell me that I have touched their lives with the things that I do.”
