Actor, John Boyega uses Wizkid’s “Daddy yo” as soundtrack to upcoming movie

Hollywood actor, John Boyega, in a tweet, revealed that he added Starboy Wizkid’s hit song “Daddy Yo” as a sound track in his new movie-“Pacific Rim Uprising”.

The actor said that since he had the opportunity to influence creative choices in the upcoming film, he thought it best to infuse Afrobeats music into the action movie.
His tweet read:
“One of the most exciting things about producing Pacific Rim Uprising was the opportunity to influence the creative choices. So I put @wizkidayo song “Daddy yo” in the movie. Jaegers need afrobeats too!
“Oh yeah… here’s a video of me listening to this very song. Listening ish.”
” Daddy Yo” crooner,Wizkid, who was happy with this initiative, thanked the actor for putting his song as the sound track in the movie.
Wizkid replied in a tweet saying:
“My bro!.”
It was learnt that the movie ‘ Pacific Rim” would be released on the March-22-2018 targeting Nigeria as a main marketing spot.
