Mariam Ashabi Moropeda, the baby daughter of late Yoruba actress, Moji Olaiya clocked one yesterday and her picture flooded social media.

The late Nollywood actress gave birth to Mariam in Canada before she passed away a few months after on May 17, 2017.

The daughter of highlife musician Victor Olaiya, Moji Olaiya began her acting career with Wale Adenuga’s production, Super Story. She starred in several Nollywood movies of Yoruba and English genres.

She married Bayo Okesola in 2007, then separated before converting to Islam in 2014.

The actress died on May 17, 2017, from cardiac arrest in Canada, where she had her second child exactly two months prior.

She was finally laid to rest on June 7, 2017 according to Islamic rites.
