#SMW2018: Ex-governor, Peter Obi speaks on innovation in governance

The Social Media Week 2018 has become another avenue to learn, relearn and unlearn all about business, politics, social media and more.
One of the key note speakers at this year’s event included Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, who spoke on Innovation in governance: A new approach to leadership;a new way forward.
He also spoke on the issue of nation building, nepotism,recycling of politicians, Nigerian party system,federal character and education. According to him, the greatest investment of any nation is in its educational sector. He added that education should be seen as an investment and not expense while citing countries that have benefitted from this.
Speaking on the state of leadership in the country, He said:
“One of the greatest problem in this country while we talk about leadership is that the followership/people are becoming insanely complacent. They think it is not their problem, they don’t care. No, they have to says things if things are wrong”
