Toke Makinwa and ex-husband, Maje Ayida spotted on a lunch date
Media personality, Toke Makinwa reportedly went out on a lunch date with ex-husband, Maje Ayida yesterday.
According to reports, the former celebrity couple were seen together at the high brow restaurant, Wheatbaker at Ikoyi in Lagos state.
”They seemed to be very intimate in their conversation and left together after having Lunch….Their conversation was very quiet and they had eyes for only each other…” a source had said.
However, it is not clear what the reason behind the date was but fans and lovers of Toke will be hoping that this turns out well.
Toke Makinwa and Maje Ayida have been divorced for less than a year now.
The couple tied the knot on January 15, 2014, in a very private ceremony which was attended by close friends and family.
It was so private that Toke was the one who announced the marriage to the public on her Instagram page with pictures from the private ceremony.
Sadly, on Thursday, October 5, 2017, an Igbosere High Court in Lagos dissolved the union between Toke Makinwa and Maje Ayida, citing Maje’s adulterous lifestyle as the major reason for the dissolution of the marriage.
