Legendary singer, Onyeka Onwenu works on 1989 hit track ‘Winnie Mandela ‘

Legendary singer, Onyeka Onwenu has revealed that she is working on the remix of 1989 hit track ‘Winnie Mandela’ that decried the struggles of the late South African heroine, who is ex-wife of Nelson Mandela.
Winnie Mandela aka ‘Mother of nations’ was a South African anti-aprtheid activist and politician, who served as a member of Parliament from 1994 to 2003,and from 2009 until her death, was a deputy minister from 1994 to 1996.
In celebration of the freedom fighter and heroine, veteran singer, Onyeka Onwenu has gone ahead to do a remix of her ‘Winnie Mandela’ song. This is mostly likely influenced by the passing away of the ‘Mother of nations’.
Taking to Instagram, Onyeka Onwenu wrote:
