Kannywood Actress Hauwa Maina is dead

Popular Kannywood Actress Hauwa Maina is dead. The beautiful dark-skinned actress was said to have passed on after a brief illness last night in Aminu Kano Teaching hospital.
Until her demise, she was known for her beautiful interpretation of roles in the Kannywood industry as she starred in popular movies like Bayajida and ‘Queen Amina’.
She has won awards including best actress SIM awards 2010, best Afro-Nollywood Award, London (2007).
Popular male Kannywood actor, Ali Nuhu confirmed the reports, saying, “Yes Hauwa Maina is dead,”
Fans and friends across the country have taken time to console the members of hr family who stating that she would be buried later today, according to the Muslim rites
She is survived by a daughter Maryam Bukar Hassan, a famous poet and an Information Technology graduate from Radford University, UK.
