Crafties Gemstone exhibition for July 6

Nigeria’s number one jewelry brand, Crafties is all set to present the first ever Gem and Jewelry event in West Africa, Craft Fest; an initiative to promote beautiful, exquisite handmade items in Nigeria.
Scheduled to last for two days from July 6, 2018, at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, the event will showcase the biggest jewelry exhibition and also the largest gemstone marketplace in West Africa where glittery array of finished jewelry collections, packaging, and designs, tools, and equipment will be exhibited.
The show is anticipated to attract hundreds of buyers across Africa, offers of outstanding attractions and also networking opportunities with great Industry stakeholders: manufacturers such as Swarovski, retail buyers, industry influencers, and trade professionals amongst other.
Unveiling plans for the event at a Press Conference in Lagos, convener of the Festival, Mrs. Oluseyi Abdullahi, said the event will also include Master Classes to be handled by top-notch facilitators.
“Some of the facilitators are the industry’s finest such as Olasubomi Okhueleigbe, Founder & Creative Director of Elesho Jewelry, who will be speaking on Revival of Jewelry Making; Founder of ArtSmith Collections, Gbenga Ayo-Dada who will speak on “Unleashing your Creativity” and the DG of The Gemological Institute of Nigeria, Mrs. Anna Momoh who will speak on the “Importance of Gem Grading and Identification. ”
The event will also see the launch of NoCopyCat campaign, an initiative that boldly stands against creative identity theft. Mrs Abdullahi called on Creatives to support the new campaign of originality, that stands against forgery or duplication of works of other Creatives, without the original creator benefiting from the act.
It is also hoped that that the campaign will spur creativity from the supposed copycats, and encourage them to think and create their own works.
