Nollywood actress, Remi Oshodi, popularly known as Remi Surutu, has remembered her daughter Ayomikun, who died one year ago.

In a post to Instagram on Monday, Remi recounted the pain of losing her daughter and how difficult it is to go on with life without her.

She put up several posts, to mark her daughter’s 1-year remembrance.

On one of the posts, she wrote: “How do I recount the memories we shared together? How long do I have to stay strong without you by my side? How many strengths do I need, for me to realize that you have truly embarked on a journey of forever? Ayomikun…it’s a year today!!! Ayomikun…we miss you at every moment of thought.”

On another picture, she captioned it “I miss you today…I will miss you for the rest of my life. My life has never been the same since you left…I try to put up strength for me and your sister but it so hard to believe you gone … You have a very large space in my heart. I keep looking at your picture everyday thinking and wondering how you left without a goodbye. I love you so much Ayomikun Oladayo and your sister loves you so much too. We all miss you. Rest on beloved…1 year just like that.
Ayomikun Ileriayo succumbed to death on July 2, 2017, after a lifetime of  battle with sickle cell anemia.
