Nigerian singer, Danny Young has had YouTube take down Tiwa Savage’s ‘One’ over copyrights claims.

Late last year, Danny Young, came out barely 48 hours after Tiwa Savage released her song ‘One’, claiming that she stole some lines off his own single ‘Oju Ti Won’.

Danny Young in his caption on social media said he was pained that Tiwa Savage who happened to be one of her favourite female acts would commit such act.

He wrote:

“I never knew I would be a victim of intellectual property theft until now. The worst pain is that my song was stolen by Tiwa Savage who happens to be one of my favourite female artistes”

Although his allegation was mostly dismissed by music fans, it appears the singer went ahead to take legal steps. As at Wednesday, 23, January 2019, the video for Tiwa Savage’s ‘One’ was taken down from YouTube, although the lyrics video and audio are still available.
