5 ways to spend Vals day while single

Share:

Valentine’s day might be spent with mixed feelings especially if you are single with nobody to call your own.

Instead of throwing a pity-party or wallowing in sadness, there are certain things you can do to spice up the day.

They include:

1. Run yourself a bubble bath complete with wine, candles and music. It is your body, spoil it and have fun while listening to your favourite music or while singing.

2. Visit a bookshop and add more books to your library. Go on an adventure through the book you open to read to day. It might be romantic, self a development, an autobiography….. Read something to broaden your mind and enrich you.

3. Try a new recipe

Today is the perfect day to try your hands on some recipe completely out of the norm. Get a recipe book, try new stuffs. Go online to get recipe ideas.

4.Go and see a movie all by yourself/ Take yourself out

It won’t hurt. You are bent on being happy, do what you can. Watch your favourite movie or that top trending movie you have been postponing to watch.

It is not a bad idea to take yourself out. Dress up, spray cologne, look your best and have fun!

5.Spend time on charity

Instead of focusing on yourself, reach out to others especially the less-privileged your midst. Call your long lost friend and catch up on old times. Reach out to your family, give them money for their upkeep. Just do something nice for anyone in particular. Knowing you have put smiles on people’s faces is fulfilling.
