Faithia Williams, Saidi Balogun celebrate birthday

February 5,2019
Share:

Former couple, Faithia Williams and Saidi Balogun, have celebrated their birthday on Tuesday.

Both of them were born on the same day. And while Faithia celebrated attaining the golden age of 50, Saidi turned 52.

They celebrated the occasion with posts on Instagram.

Faithia Williams shared a series of pictures and wrote:

“Birthday is a reminder of how far God has taken us and the beautiful future he has ahead of us. I am super grateful for another opportunity to start again,” she captioned one of the pictures.

On his part, Saidi wrote: ““It is yet another February 5th and I cannot but be grateful to the Almighty God for allowing me to see yet another birthday of mine! There is no doubt that God has been wonderful to me over the years and especially in the last 365 days! I give Him all the glory for all He has done and will continue to do in my life! Thank you Baba God,” he wrote.

Faithia and Saidi’s wedding was contracted in the year 2000 at the Ikorodu Marriage Registry in Lagos, and their marriage produced two children, a boy, and a girl.

The two officially divorced on January 17, 2014, after which Faithia reverted to her maiden name, Williams.

However, they have remained friends.
