Social Media Week 2019 ,which has been creating much buzz in media space,officially kicked off at the Landmark center yesterday,February 4th.

Thousand of social media enthusiasts, business entrepreneurs, expatriates, professionals and guests alike gathered at the venue with different expectations.

For some it was to network with likeminded business associates, for others it was officially to cover the event and promote on media,yet for some others it was to benefit from the wealth of experience from the seasoned panelists at the masterclass sessions.

Speaking of the master classes, it attracted a high number of attendees with different motives and interest. Some were on a first come first served basis because they were highly booked. This is where the schedule of the Social Media Week 2019 comes to play,it served as a compass to help attendees decide on which masterclass to attend.

Day one took off on a high pedestal. It is expected that as Social Media Week 2019 progresses,it would gather more momentum. One major highlight was the grand opening of African NXT grand opening which ushered in the performance from prolific painter, Nimi Izulu.
