Adekunle Gold celebrates Simi on first birthday as Mrs. Kosoko
Nigerian highlife singer and songwriter, Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has been celebrating his wife, Simisola, who is plus one today.
Born April 19, 1988, the singer and songwriter turn 31.
AG, as he is fondly called took to his Instagram page, early on Friday, posted a lovey-dovey picture of both of them and wrote: “First Birthday as Mrs. Kosoko ?. Older by a year today, but you are sexier than ever. Happy Birthday Omo Charlie Champagne. Love you forever.”
The birthday girl herself also celebrated herself when she wrote: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU BEAUTIFUL INCREDIBLE MAGNIFICENT HUMAN BEING!!! THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS OF YOUR LIFE ?????.”
She attended Stars International College, a secondary school in Ikorodu, Lagos State. She is an alumna of Covenant University, Otta, Ogun State, where she studied Mass Communication,
She started her career as a gospel singer, releasing her debut studio single in 2008 titled Ogaju.
Simi kicked off her musical odyssey by writing her first tune at 10. Years later, she became the sweet voice behind hit songs like Jamb Question, Tiff, and “Tiff”, “Love Don’t Care”, “Smile for Me”, “Aimasiko”, “Joromi”, and Omo Charlie Champagne, which she dropped to celebrate her birthday today.
The Ondo state indigene is the last of four children and the only girl. The talented singer has a playful disposition and people who follow her n social media can tell from the pictures and videos.
Simi and Adekunle Gold have been best of friends for a while before tying the knots early in January, this year.
She is said to be responsible for the arrangement and mixing of “Orente”, Adekunle Gold’s single that took the music scene by storm, a few years back.
