Beautiful Nollywood actress, model, television personality and philanthropist, Shan George is a year older today.

She was born April 21, 1970.

The mother of two took to her Instagram page early on Sunday to share the joy of the day and wrote: “Happy Birthday to meeee ???? it’s a double celebration for me. Jesus Christ has also Risen ?❤. Happy Easter to you all. I love u!!! #birthdaygirl”.

She later shared a throwback picture of herself when she wrote Common Entrance Exams, to enter Secondary school, and wrote: “Look at the wicked pix my mom just gave me now, as my Birthday gift. She sabi keep something o. I remember this day very vividly. It was d day I wrote Common Entrance Exams, to enter Secondary school. (Last year in primary 6).

“We walked long kilometers to school then, as u can see, I had no shoes on, I had none?. D ground would burn under my tiny oyinbo feet. ??????. ‘Long Hot Road’. (My next movie title, my real story).”

Shan was born in Ediba, a town in Abi local government area of Cross River State. She attended the University of Lagos, where she studied Mass Communication and went on to produce her debut movie titled All For Winnie during her final year.

She has since taken part in many other movies and also released her debut studio album titled Dance which got positive reviews from music critics, in 2010.
