10 Important items needed for working rainy days

It is raining yet again! Hurray! But is it always sad when you are ready to head to work then it is pouring rain outside.

It is also so annoying getting to office with your clothing drenched and you have nothing to change into.

If you are someone that struggles to pack the right things in your backpack for a rainy day, have no fear.

Here is a survival guide list of what you should have in your backpack for a rainy days at work.

1. A Working Umbrella

If you are able to invest in a good umbrella, get one that will be durable from the wind especially if you live in a rainy area like Lagos. Nothing worst than breaking an expensive umbrella.

2. A beanie or a baseball cap

Maybe wear it so you can save space in your backpack.

3. A Raincoat

Perhaps also wear your raincoat to save room in your backpack yet again.

4. A Cardigan

In an office that is always cold, make sure you have your Cardigan to rescue you. In order not to inconvenience others, by turning off the AC, be guarded with your Cardigan.

5. A bag of your favorite tea

Carry a tea bag so you don’t have to pay for tea on a rainy day.

6. A water flask.

Most of the time, those places that offer free hot water will only give it to you if you have a mug. Therefore, carry a thermos.

7. A muffin or some other pastry

There is nothing better to compliment tea with than a pastry.

8. A second pair of sock

Sometimes even when you are wearing rain boots, your socks can still get soaked. And there is nothing worst than walking around all day with wet socks.

9. Extra clothes

No matter how good your umbrella is, you might end up getting wet or soaked. Especially with breezy kind of rainfalls. Extra clothes are needed, just in case.

10. Balm

Always have a balm (Robb, Aboniki or its likes) in your pack bag. When the cold gets worse, you can apply on your palms, legs or face.
