Bra Rule By Brief Essential Boss

Bra have always been part of women for a long time, but there are not enough information about this underwear that women cannot do without

Bra essential

Seun Tayo-Balogun, CEO Brief Essentials

Seun Tayo-Balogun, CEO Brief Essentials, Nigeria’s foremost lingerie authority spoke recently on vital rules to follow for bras.

She started by explaining how important it is for a woman to take care of her bra. She said that Without proper care for undergarments, there’s a risk of infection/disease.

On how often a woman should wash her bra, the lingerie designer stated that How often you should wash your bra depends on how you use your bra.

“If you engage in activities that cause a lot of perspiration, then you definitely should wash your bra after each use. A rule of thumb is perhaps after 2 uses, assuming you engage in low intensity activities. We need to keep in mind that a bra is that piece of undergarment ladies should wash more often than not.”

Just like we are advised to change our toothbrush every three months, Tayo Balogun explains that bras are not equals to toothbrushes, bras are changed twice to three times in a week while toothbrush, only one is used daily for three months.

She advised, “A bra you wear 4 times in a week, might probably last 1 year and we have many that last longer. Ladies have to remember that it is about the frequency and usage. They should also look out for signs that tell the bra is worn out. These signs include stretched out straps, bent underwires, extended bands, wrinkled cups and damaged hooks and eyes.”

She suggested that a woman should have at least, 5 bras that really fit in her wardrobe.

On the kind of bra women should invest in, she said a woman should invest in bras that fits. When we talk about fit, we mean the bra should be the woman’s size, should be comfortable and should be supportive.
