Actress Tonto Dikeh’s son takes ‘Yoruba cake’ to school to celebrate the Independence Day
In preparation for tomorrow’s Independence Day celebration, many schools asked their pupils to dress according to the different tribes in Nigeria. In some schools, pupils were asked to bring food from different tribes too.
Nollywood actres, Tonto Dikeh’s son, King was asked to bring Yoruba food but the actress could not come up with anything, so, she contacted a baker to make a cake.
In a post on her Instagram page, the actress said that she tagged the cake, Yoruba cake, to depict the tribe her son was asked to represent.
She wrote,
Cultural day in my son’s @kingandre_dikeh school.
His class was teamed to dress the yourba wear and bring a yourba meal..FOR 3DAYS I KEPT THINKING WHAT KIND OF YOURBA MEAL WILL I PRESENT, NO INSPIRATION CAME..SO I called @nikkycakestudio I SAID SIS BAKE ME A NICE CAKE CALLED A YOURBA CAKE…
