You can trace Funke’s wealth to her work – singer Lami Phillips celebrates Funke Akindele-Bello

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Lami Philips-Gbadamosi took to her Instagram page to celebrate the industrious actress Funke Akindele-Bello.

The singer describes Funke as a committed actress and a role model whose source of wealth could be traced to her work.

In addition, she said that Funke isn’t giving the wrong idea or impression to the younger ones who looks up to her by confusing prostitution with hardwork.

Sharing the photo below, she wrote;

A couple of years ago, I did a stage play with this lovely lady. Every single day .. even on performance day, her team was there to script her projects. She was hands-on… very involved. Funke asks questions, works extremely hard and is very humble. She is what I’d term as a real role model. You don’t see her flossing on the gram .. she could.. but she doesn’t. When she works with a brand.. you can see all the work she puts into projecting that brand. You can trace Funke’s wealth to her work. She isn’t misleading younger women into thinking or confusing runs with hard work. She could, but she doesn’t.

I was In a conversation recently and then I saw her recent project with @moabudu and I thought to myself.. @funkejenifaakindele , you may not hear it often, you may wonder if all this hard work is in vain, you may even compare your accomplishments to those of others and think you’re not doing enough . So, today.. I decided to celebrate you, celebrate your marriage to @jjcskillz and the woman that you are. It’s not your birthday.. it’s just a good day to say well done and God bless you Sis.
