Kirk Franklin celebrates youngest daughter, Kennedy, who graduates from college
American choir director and gospel musician has expressed his delight and pride in his youngest daughter, Kennedy, who graduates from college this month.
The proud father posted a series of pictures of the bevy of beauty on his Instagram page, and thanked God for keeping her safe through her schooling days.
He also prayed that she will see her potentials and ability to guard it with her whole heart.
“My youngest daughter is graduating from college this month…I could tell her a billion times how proud I am of her, but it will take her becoming a mother to fully understand the weight of that pride. My children have walked across stages I’ve never been on, stood in arenas I could only dream of, and will walk through doors that were closed for me and their momma. This is my baby girl. The one that has been my beautiful spoiled drama queen…and YES, it’s my fault! I would do it all again if I could. Jesus, thank you for my Kennedy, thank you for keeping her safe as she drove up and down I35 coming home from school. Let her see her potential and give her the boldness to guard it with her whole heart. I know I gotta let her grow up, but it’s hard… that’s my baby.💜”
