Sowore’s mother pleads with Buhari to release her son
Speaking with CNN Africa exclusively, mother of detained activist Omoyele Sowore pleads with Nigerian president Buhari to release her son.
24 hours after the release of Sowore from detention by the DSS it’s alleged that men from the DSS rearrested him while interrupting court proceedings in an Abuja court on 6th December 2019.
The mother has cried out asking on what ground is he being arrested again.
According to her interview with CNN, Esther Kehinde Sowore said,
“I cannot eat, I cannot sleep, it has affected my health.”
She went further to enquire “what did they see again that they’ve not seen before?”
The grieved mother went on to plead with President Buhari in the name of Allah to release her son.
Sowore’s wife also expressed her bitterness over his alleged rearrest and stated how confused she was about letting the children know their father won’t be back for Christmas.
