Don’t Force A woman To Stay at Home, Yul Edoche Advises Men Over career Women
Nigerian actor, Yul Edoche on Twitter has advised men not to marry career-driven women with the aim of turning them into full housewives.
The movie star disclosed this on his social media page as part of his reflections on marriage.
According to him, men who crave wives that would sit down at home without doing anything should not consider ladies that are strong-willed for a career course.
He advised they should rather marry women with no particular set goals or career, adding that such would avoid controversies in homes.
“Don’t marry a career lady and force her to stay at home. You fail am bros. Women deserve to be successful and achieve their dreams too,” he wrote on Twitter.
“If you don’t want your wife to work or do business simply marry the one that doesn’t want to do anything. You’ll have a great life together.”
Edochie has made headlines for several of his opinions on issues affecting the society including one where he said catholic priests should be allowed to get married, as against the church’s doctrine.
He was also the centre of attention in 2019 after hinting he could become a pastor a statement which generated widespread reactions from several people including Daddy Freeze, Nigerian broadcaster and social activist.
