How government can raise more entrepreneurs in Nigeria – Mr. Olaleye, CEO of Kingkong records
Fast rising Nigerian actor who doubles as the CEO Of Kingkong Records, Olaleye Olalekan John, popularly known as Lekan Kingkong has pleaded with the Nigerians government to make the business environment friendlier because, according to him, “Government cannot employ everyone; it should create an enabling environment so that entrepreneurs can thrive and grow the economy and also employ more people in the process.”
The Business Admin graduate from Ajayi Crowther University also urged the youths to make honesty a priority, mostly in business dealings and to remain diligent, hardworking in their respective careers.
He added that young people should be focused, “the young ones of today, are the leaders of tomorrow, so they should be God-fearing in all that they do.’
Speaking with newsmen in Lagos, Lekan Kingkong , revealed his passion for entertainment from childhood, which he claimed spurred him to venture into Entertainment business.
“My passion for entertainment helped me to thrive in the business despite the challenging environment of the industry. I am a business oriented young man who had the urge to invest savings in different businesses and now it’s paying off. I also went into entertainment business because I have friends who were into showbiz. They advised me on some of the steps I took that led me fully into this money making venture. My friends assisted me to actualise my dream.”
Highlighting the challenges of establishing as well as maintaining and growing a business in Nigeria, Lekan Kingkong advised youths not to be discouraged, hence, to be hardworking and persevere as success would come their way.”
