Veteran comedian, Jerry Stiller dies at 92
Veteran comedian, Jerry Stiller had died at the age of 92.
His son Ben Stiller, announced the passing of the comedian today 11th May 2020.
He said Jerry died of natural causes. Taking to twitter Nollywood star Ben Stiller announced the passing away of his father.
He tweeted ;
“I’m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes. He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad,”
Jerry Stiller was a multi-talented performer who appeared in an assortment of movies.
Jerry had starred in Seinfeld, playing George Costanzas’ father Frank, as well as Arthur Spooner in the comedy series The King Of Queens.
He appeared alongside his famous son in Zoolander and Zoolander 2, as well as in Heavyweights, Hot Pursuit and The Heartbreak Kid.
Jerry Stiller and Anne Meare were happily married for 62 years before Anne sadly died in 2015.
