Police officer, Dolapo Badmus celebrats 18th anniversary in Force
Popular Nigerian police officer, Dolapo Opeyemi Badmus is celebrating her 18th anniversary in the force.
She joined the police force on Auguat 15, 2002.
Superintendent of Police who is the Lagos and Ogun state Police Public Relations Officer ( PPRO)., in a post on Sunday, promised to do much more within her power in years to come, to protect Nigeria and its people, to uphold its sovereignty and ensure peace and justice reigns within its territory.

“It’s been 18 years of rigorous service to the people of Nigeria 🇳🇬. On the 15th day of August 2002, I sworn and signed an oath to protect Nigeria and its people, to uphold its sovereignty and ensure peace and justice reigns within its territory especially within my Area Of Responsibility……This I’ve strived to do in the last six thousand, five hundred and seventy days!!!! It’s not yet Uhuru but I promise to do much more within my power in years to come!!! So Help Me God! Congratulations to me….and cheers to years to come!!!!GOD BLESS NIGERIA 🔫🇳🇬👮”
Dolapo is the second of six children of her parents.
Her late dad was once a Local Government Chairman and a member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly.
The Vibrant, fashionable, hardworking, and sociable studied Accounting from Ado Ekiti Federal Polytechnic and later got a post-graduate degree in Public Administration.
Dolapo was influenced to join the Police force by her uncle.
She officially joined the police force in 2002 as an Assistant Superintendent of Police.
She was once Aide de Camp, (ADC) to the number four citizen of Nigeria.
 Dolapo has also served as the divisional police officer, DPO, Isokoko Division, Agege, Lagos state.
She became the PRO of Lagos state police in 2016 and soon became the Zone 2 command PPRO overseeing Ogun and Lagos States.
She was promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police in March 2018, and elevated to the position of provost in 2019.
She happily married and blessed with children.
