The wedding between Hanan, one of the daughters of President Muhammadu Buhari, and Muhammad Turad, the son of a former House of Representatives member Sani Sha’aban took place at the presidential villa today, Friday, September 4, 2020.

Hanan’s mum, the First Lady, Hajia Aisha Buhari shared the pre-nuptial picture of the couple on her Instagram, with a simple caption “#HamadForever Alhamdullilah.”

According to reports, Hanan, whose real name is Aisha (named after her mother), and Muhammad have been in a relationship for quite some time.

The event was low-keyed because of the Covid-19 pandemic, as only few family members of the couple as well as associates of their parents were at the wedding ceremony.
