Nigerians like the grass to grace story – Davido

Nigerian singer Davido believes it was very hard for him to prove himself to Nigerians because he didn’t have the grass to grace story.

He revealed this during his interview with Ebuka Obi Uchendu on Bounce #BLACKBOXINTERVIEW.

Coming from a rich home made his rise to stardom really difficult for him as people saw mostly the money.

‘though the finance was available, I put in a lot of work in order to get recognized unlike my colleagues who had the grass to grace story.’ Davido said.

He said that his motivation is the naysayers who believed he couldn’t make music, he had to work real hard to shut them all up.

On his relationship with Wizkid and Burna, Davido said that they are the three giants in the industry, there is nothing really serious to point out about the supposed beef but they are his brothers and to him, they are cool.

He added that he vibes to their songs but emphasized that any gang up between Wiz kid and Burna Boy against him ,won’t work out.

Davido said he’d be a billionaire in dollars if he decides to work for his family but he does music because he enjoys the craft.
