For many Nigerians, Summer is one of the best times to take a break, explore new destinations and create unforgettable memories. Whether you are planning a luxury holiday, a family getaway or a budget-friendly escape, there are plenty of exciting places you can visit both within Africa and beyond. Here

Here are our top destinations to explore this summer.

  1. Explore East Africa
If you are looking for breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable wildlife experiences, East Africa should be high on your list. Kenya offers world-famous safaris, beautiful beaches in Mombasa and vibrant city life in Nairobi.
  • Tanzania is home to the spectacular Serengeti National Park and the idyllic island of Zanzibar, where white sandy beaches and turquoise waters provide the perfect summer escape.
  • Rwanda is another excellent choice, known for its clean cities, mountain gorillas and stunning scenery.

Rediscover Nigeria
You don’t always need to travel abroad to enjoy a memorable holiday. Nigeria boasts incredible destinations such as Obudu Mountain Resort in Cross River State, Erin Ijesha Waterfalls in Osun State, Yankari National Park in Bauchi State and the beaches of Lagos. Supporting local tourism can be just as rewarding.

Discover Europe
For those dreaming of a European summer, destinations such as Portugal, Spain, Italy and Greece remain favourites. Wander through charming old towns, relax on beautiful beaches, sample delicious local cuisine and immerse yourself in centuries of history and culture. Summer festivals, outdoor cafés and scenic coastlines make Europe especially magical during this season.

Enjoy Dubai
Dubai continues to be one of the most popular destinations for Nigerian travellers. Although summer temperatures are high, visitors can take advantage of attractive hotel deals, indoor attractions, luxury shopping, water parks and world-class entertainment. It’s an ideal destination for families, couples and solo travellers alike.

Experience the United Kingdom
The UK comes alive during summer, with pleasant weather, colourful gardens and lively outdoor events. Explore London’s famous landmarks, enjoy afternoon tea, visit museums and discover picturesque towns and countryside across England, Scotland and Wales.

Escape to the Indian Ocean
If relaxation is your priority, consider the Maldives, Mauritius or the Seychelles. These island destinations offer crystal-clear waters, luxury resorts, water sports and peaceful surroundings that are perfect for unwinding.
