MUSIC: Timaya Drops ‘Gra Gra’ visuals Ahead Of ‘Gratitude’ Album

Nigerian singer Inetimi Odon, better known as Timaya, has come through with the visuals for ‘Gra Gra’, his latest single.

The gifted singer announced the release of the song, which is a track off ‘Gratitude’, his forthcoming album, on Wednesday.

The less than four-minute video sees Timaya addressing the dangers of pride and people’s craving to become successful without hard work.

“You no wan work you want to chop oo // You no wan strive you want to flex oo // You must to serve before you be boss oo // You no wan suffer you wan enjoy…” he could be heard singing in a mixture of English and Pidgin.

Using himself as a reference, Timaya enjoined people not to give up on their dreams when faced with challenges.

“Hustlers don’t complain, we just figure it and slide (we just figure it and slide) // Say we ready for the rainy day, only God dey my side..,” he added.

The ‘Bum Bum’ crooner has consistently spoken against people living fake life on social media.

“The better you start working very hard and show less on Instagram the better for you. A lot of people show of lies on the gram and don’t work hard to back it up,” he had said in 2019.

With strings of beautiful projects and awards to his name, Timaya has established himself as a household name in the country’s music industry.
