Today, December 19, Oyenike Laoye, known professionally as Nikki Laoye, Nigerian recording artist becomes a year older.

Nikki who is also a singer, humanitarian, songwriter, dancer and occasional actress, renowned for her musical expressions and stage performances is all overwhelmed at she clocks the golden age of 40!

Expressing her excitement via her social media page, Nikki Laoye shared a lovely photo and wrote: ” #BossNikkiIs40: She is Princess Oyenike “Nikki” Laoye of the Laoye Ajeniju Royal Family of Ede, Osun State – Daughter of Prince Olushola Isaac Laoye – from the lineage & musical legacy of my grandfather, Baba Kekere Adedeji Olatinwo Laoye (a great pianist) and his brother, the renowned Drummer King – the Timi of Ede (Oba Adetoyese Laoye) “

Continuing, the popular Nigeria female singer, added, “And She is also the Daughter of the Most High King, the one true Mighty God of all.

I am truly my Father’s Daughter and today, I pay homage to my royal ties on heaven and on earth today as I turn 40 as a reminder of who I am in Christ Jesus – the Queen of His Heart.

In this new decade & beyond, I remain seated with Christ Jesus, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion… And yes God has placed all things under my feet and made me the head of everything.

I reign and rule victoriously in every area of my life and in everything that concerns me.

This New season favors me, honors me, bows to me, blesses me.

I am the King’s kid.. My crown will never be shaken.
