Toke Makinwa supports Lilian Afegbai for buying N10 million Birkin handbag
Controversial OAP, Toke Makinwa has rescued Nollywood actress, Lilian Afegbai from the hands of trolls on social media who attacked her for buying a N10million handbag.
The 29 year old came under fire after she posted about buying a Birkin bag of $22,000.
According to Toke, people need to learn how to mind their business and stop dictating to people how to spend their money. She added that everyone has the right to spend their money any how they want to.
“I hope we grow in our minds and learn to stop dictating how people choose to spend their money. it’s really disturbing like who made you a finance god? If someone wants to blow all “their”cash on whatever they decide to, let them,” she tweeted.
She added, “So long as they not asking you for handouts, It’s another way of putting people under unnecessary pressure, like how can you say why did she buy that bag when she still pays rent? There are many guys popping new cars and still paying rent and no one is telling them what they should or should not spend their money on.”
