Yetunde, wife of Seun Kuti has penned loving words for her husband as he celebrates his birthday today.

Seun, who clocks 38, is the youngest son of Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

In a post on her Instagram page, Yetunde stated that it’s been a long and beautiful journey with him and her love for him has continued to sprout every moment they’ve shared, adding that she feels so blessed to be his wife.

“It’s been a long and beautiful journey with you
My love, for every moment that we share my love for you sprout. No matter what life throws at us, you baby makes me tough. You stand by me and show me that you care! You have a special role in my life, And I feel so blessed to be your wife. Happy Birthday to the best hubby and daddy in the universe. Have a magical day baby. @bigbirdkuti.”

On his part, the birthday boy also chose to celebrate his wife, who described as a “special gift, and “the main pepper inside this soup.”

“She grab my thoughts and lift my spirits and a little girl to remind me that the work can never finish. Thanks for being ‘a Gift.”

Here is the full post: “Happy bday to me! Born on this day 1983.  Life is all about the people we meet along the way that help us become better. Today is my birthday but I’m gonna write a little message to my own special gift @chefyeide. Today might be my birthday but I will celebrate you, the glue that makes the broken China anew. She dey the trenches with the troops to empower the group. The main pepper inside this soup! She grabs my thoughts and lifts my spirits and a little girl to remind me that the work can never finish. Thanks for being ‘a Gift ‘ #getthesax. #8338.”
