Aisha Babaginda, daughter of ex-military president Ibrahim Babagida has condemned the recent kidnap of children at the Government Science College, Kagar. Niger State.

In a post on instagram, she noted how disturbing and heartbreaking it is working to protect children from harm, but yet the dangers these children face within our communities.
While describing abduction as the work of monsters, she listed out causes of rising cases of kidnappings in the country to include unemployment, poverty, illiteracy, greed and corruption.
She also proffered solutions to the ugly trend. According to her, introduction of anti-kidnapping agents and job creations will a long way in stemming the growing trend.

“I felt abducted myself when I heard about the kidnap of our children at the Government Science College, Kagar. Niger State. Abduction is the work of monsters. There is no return from such deeds, only an eternity of nothing.
“My prayers are of our children to be found quickly and safely. My prayers are for the beautiful souls lost through this horrendous tragedy. My prayers are for the dear parents who must be going through such pain and anxiety over the whereabouts of their dear children.
“It is so heartbreaking that we work to protect children from harm, but yet the dangers that face our children within our communities is truly disturbing. What causes these kidnappings you might ask; Unemployment
    Poverty
    Illiteracy
    Greed
    Corruption.
“We must reevaluate the root causes of kidnapping and address them so as to totally eliminate the horrible scourge. How?
    introduction of anti-kidnapping agents.
Job creations and the list goes on. #noroomforkidnapping #nigerstate #kagaragovtscience #” She wrote on Instagram.
