Resist the urge to explain, Toke Makinwa counsels
Media personality, Toke Makinwa has counseled people to resist the urge to explain themselves and allow people think whatever they want.
In a tweet on Monday, the author and entrepreneur wrote: “Resist the urge to explain. Those who love you don’t need a reason to love you and those who don’t will never believe you anyway, catch yourself before you start to ro ejo unnecessarily, save your peace.

“Let whoever think whatever, just keep doing you.”
Some of her followers, however, differ with the radio personality.
Some are of the opinion that resisting the urge to explain should only be applicable to strangers, not people you love or love you.
“Communication, they say, makes relationships stronger. To communicate effectively, you’ve got to explain some things and give reasons to your actions…” one of her followers tweeted.
