Nigerian media personality Debola Williams offers our motivational talk for today, and he speaks on not allowing fear or shame to talk one out of one’s great destiny.

Taking a lead from Burna Boy’s winning of the Grammy Award and multi-award winning singer, Davido being cast in the sequel to the hit Hollywood movie, ‘Coming to America 2’, Debola wondered what would have happened if both stars had quit or allowed negative criticism to stop them.

Even if you get burnt, take the fire and light another path, he charged all.

“Often times, the exact reason we don’t do something we should is the exact reason we should. Stop letting fear or “shame” talk you out of your great destiny, deny you of your blessings. Imagine if #Burna quit in 2013 when we weren’t paying attention? Today he won’t be #TwiceAsTall to bring home a #Grammy If #Davido was afraid of the ridicule he received for his own voice in the early days? Today he won’t be #Coming2America.

“Even if you get burnt, take the fire and light another path.

You would be better gaining that experience and using it to get better than not moving at all. Than not trying. Than not starting. EVERY big idea can only take flight with a step! And here’s a subtle reminder as you begin another week.”
