2023: I don’t need political experience to be president – Yul Edochie declares
Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has clearly stated that he doesn’t need any political experience to run for the 2023 presidential election.
The actor said this while responding to people who said he does not have the political experience to contest in the forth coming Nigeria’s general elections.
The movie producer said political experience should not be the yardstick to electing Nigeria President, stating that those who had experienced it failed though they are well-experienced.
Yul, an Anambra State indigene took to his verified Twitter handle and dropped a message for naysayers.
Yul Edochie wrote, “They say I have no political experience; the ones with political experience see where they have kept us from 1960 till now.
“We don’t need political experience anymore. We need one of us. A compassionate, visionary youth with integrity who hasn’t been corrupted by the system.”
The actor’s father, Nollywood icon Pete Edochie, had, on February 12, publicly endorsed Yul to run for the 2023 Nigerian presidential election.
