Chilli Chicken Recipe (Video)
With this simple recipe, you can make restaurant-style Chilli Chicken at home. This Chilli Chicken is crisp and tasty. Boneless chicken is marinated in Chinese sauces, and fried until crispy before being stir-fried with ginger, garlic, onions, bell peppers, and sauces.
FOR THE CHICKEN
400g Chicken Breast
2 tsp tsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp Onion Powder
2 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Chicken seasoning or 1 Bouillon
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Chilli Powder
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Potato Starch OR 1/2 Cup Cornflour
FOR THE STIR FRY
3 Bell Peppers
1 Small Onion
FOR THE SLURRY
4 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
4 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
4 tbsp Honey or Golden Syrup
1/3 Cup Chicken Broth or Water
2 tbsp Chinese Cooking Wine OR
2 tsp Vinegar
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1/3 Cup Ketchup
1/3 Cup Sweet Chilli Sauce
2 tbsp Cornflour
2 tsp Chicken Seasoning
