Oby Ezekwesili requests public apology from Omojuwa for allegedly naming her as director in his company without her permission and consent
Oby Ezekwesili has written a letter to Japheth Omojuwa, through her attorneys, Falana and Falana Chambers, requesting a public explanation and apology from him for allegedly enlisting her as a director of his firm, Alpha Reach, without her permission and approval.
According to the letter, Ezekwesili was approached by an individual on March 31, 2021, asking if she knew about her role as a director in the aforementioned organization. She posted copies of the letter on her Twitter account. According to her lawyers’ note, Ezekwesili declined because she had never heard of the firm before.
The individual who first approached her later forwarded a paper from the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) showing her name identified as a director of the business that was later discovered to be owned by Omojuwa.
She is now requesting a public explanation and apologies from him for using her name without her permission, as well as her exclusion from the company’s formation procedure.
