Leke Adeboye pens emotional note for late brother
Leke Adeboye has said he will still send his late brother, Pastor Dare Adeboye, a gift on June 9, which will be his first posthumous birthday.
In an emotional post on Instagram, Leke noted that his late brother would have sent him a cash gift on his own birthday on May 20. Now that will not happen again, he, however, thanked him for giving him the best gift of being a brother.
He wrote: “Your fist was still clenched like you were holding a mic. But this time with your eyes closed and smiling. It’s my birthday on May 20. You would have sent me a cash gift as a little brother. And I would have retaliated on June 9. I still will, as you have given me the gift of being my brother. Thank you for all the experiences. The goods, the grillings and the godly.”
Pastor Oluwadamilare Adeboye, Leke’s senior brother died at the age of 42 in Eket, Akwa Ibom State on Wednesday.
