Subsequent to the constant bloodshed in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, Nollywood actress, Uche Elendu has pleaded to the Nigerian government led by Muhammad Buhari to intervene.

The divorced mother of two who is also from Imo State lamented that the country is gradually through anarchy which might lead to worse situations.

Elendu via her verified Instagram page called upon God to come and intervene for Nigerians as they have completely lost faith in the government they elected.

Sharing a tearful smiley, Uche Elendu wrote, “O Lord save our country from anarchy. My Owerri known for peace and happiness is now den of sudden mishap, killing, kidnapping and death. A cry for Help!!! Lord please forgive our sins and heal our land, let peace, unity , love for one another and value for human lives dwell with us. Our government has failed us but we know you will never fail us Lord!! Please have Mercy. Mercy on us Lord. Innocent people are dying in the south east like chickens, living in fear and uncertainty  Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha Buhari don’t be quiet on us, Please intervene.”
