How to Make Ofada Stew
In this food tutorial, Sisi Yemmie shares how to make Ofada stew, a stew that originates from Western Nigeria and is commonly eaten with a locally grown rice called Ofada rice.
Ofada stew is one of those delicious native savoury dishes that pack a major punch as it is flavoured with smoked dried shrimp, and fermented locust beans (iru).
Ingredients:
700g Cooked Assorted Meats
5 Very Ripe Bell Peppers (Tatashe)
1.5 Cups Bleached Palm Oil
4 Scotch Bonnet (Atarodo)
1.5 Onions Boiled Eggs (Optional)
2 Dried Fish
1 Cooking spoon Ground Crayfish
4 Tablespoons Locust Beans (Iru)
Chicken/ beef seasoning
Salt to taste
